Iowa Insurance Hall Of Fame Scholarship at Drake University
Drake University - College of Business and Public Administration
A $1,000 scholarship is available to students interested in a career in insurance, risk management or financial services. This scholarship has been established to honor those members of the industry inducted into the Iowa Insurance Hall Fame. By recognizing the outstanding individual contributions which both formed the backbone of Iowa's insurance industry and continue to preserve its integrity today, we hope this scholarship will inspire a vision of unrivaled success for the next generation of insurance industry leaders.

Scholarship Eligibility

The recipient will be selected for the award based on the following criteria:

  • The student has an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and is in good academic standing with the college and university.
  • The student is enrolled in any major within the College of Business and Public Administration at Drake University.
  • The student will be junior or senior in the academic year beginning the spring after the award.

Drake University staff will review the list of students and select an individual based on the requirements outlined the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame.  The recipient will be invited to the annual Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame induction ceremony and recognized.
